ASSA ABLOY, Bercomex and Rendo implement FMP360

The new FMP360 solution will provide ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems with an up-to-date planning tool for its back office and an app-based mobile solution for its field staff. The new FMP360 mobility platform is interfaced to ASSA ABLOY's ERP back office system and will be rolled out across the division in Europe and North America.

On January 22 this year, Bercomex started implementing Gomocha's Field Mobility Platform FMP360 to support its global service activities.

On February 4 this year, Rendo signed a new contract with Gomocha to start implementing FMP360 to support its service activities. FMP360 is used primarily for time recording and file synchronization to deliver all the information about projects to service technicians.

Dick Tuin, Manager IT reports: “Gomocha is able to very quickly implement the platform into our organization, without disturbing ongoing activities. This reduction of implementation risks made the decision process to work with Gomocha very easy.”

Time for a new Mars route

U.S. chocolate maker Mars recently issued a product recall in dozens of countries after a problem in its manufacturing process was discovered. Mars jumped into action to ensure that customers did not consume a “faulty” Mars product. 

The digital mobile process is not yet available to enable field service workers to promptly remove potentially affected products from vending machines. Faced with a crisis, should organizations with field-service workers solve this by returning to the old ways of paper work orders or emailed instructions? No. It takes the same amount of time – or even less time – to change the standard digital mobile process so it can handle extraordinary circumstances, as would be required to create and distribute paper or emailed instructions.
